Rachel Root

Rachel started dancing at just 2 years old and was also performing at a very early age.  Her passion for acting and singing  quickly grew and she made her West End debut in 2000.  She is passionate about passing on her theatrical experiences and 15 years of teaching experience - introducing the fun and skills that the I.D.T.A Musical Theatre Syllabus has to offer.

Jacey Collins

Mark Symons F.I.D.T.A
Mark started dancing at the age of 6 with just a 30 minute gymnastic class each week. This training soon developed to the full range of theatre subjects with classes several times a week.
During his training Mark was nominated for IDTA Theatre Dance Scholarships twice and was often called upon to demonstrate at lectures and seminars.
Before dancing professionally for thirteen years he obtained membership of the IDTA up to Fellowship level.
Mark is now a full time teacher at several dancing schools and is currently studying for further teaching qualifications.


Hannah Mallin A.I.D.T.A
Hannah started dancing at the age of 7, as one of the first student of Tu Tu’s Dance Studio back in 1999. She trained in all aspects of Theatre Dance at the school and performed regularly in shows.
During her training Hannah was nominated for IDTA Theatre Dance Scholarships in Ballet at the age of 14.
Realising her passion for teaching and after assisting Jacey with classes at Tu Tu’s dance Studio for 7 years, she decided to begin her teaching qualifications back in 2009 and qualified in July 2011.
She is now Jacey’s Assistant and loves her position and watching the development of the children within the school.

Jacey started dancing her dance training at the age of 4 at West London School of Dance and also trained at Barbara Speake Stage School in London, from the age of 10, where past students include Phil Collins and Naomi Campbell. A normal school day meant she would have to juggle dance, drama and singing lessons and school work in to every day as well as working in Theatre, Film and TV, where she undoubtedly gained invaluable experience in the professional world.
At the age of 16, she left Stage School and went on to perform in the West End Musical Bugsy Malone, for 18 months. She continued to work professionally in Musical Theatre, TV and Films for a further 18 years. Musical Theatre shows included, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Ziegfeld, Rocky Horror Show, Starlight Express, 42nd Street with Catherine Zeta Jones, Joseph with Aled Jones and Philip Schofield performing in the West End, UK Tours, Germany, Italy and Canada.
Whilst performing, Jacey continued to study for further teaching qualifications and in November 1999, opened Tu Tu's Dance Studio. She continued with her studies whilst running the school and in June 2011, Jacey qualified as an I.D.T.A Theatre Examiner.
The role of Examiner, Teacher and former Performer are all attributes that Jacey now shares with the pupils who attend Tu Tu's Dance Studio, giving them guidance, encouragement and most importantly confidence in the world she loves and knows so very well.
